This page is dedicated to my fellow "beaderz" that would like to sell their beadwork on this website.
Here's the basic guidelines and policies:
All items for sale must be in new condition, personally handcrafted by the jewelry artist (referred to as the supplier") and of high quality (no knots, glue patches, visible threads, etc). Beaderz will not sell or promote inferior beadwork or beadwork that has been copyrighted without the express written permission from the original designer.
All items for sale will be shipped to Beaderz at the supplier's expense. This is to ensure that an order will ship out by the next business day from date of order. Once items have been delivered to Beaderz, I will be personally responsible for them. The supplier may request these items back at any time and return shipping will be paid by the supplier.
Beaderz will assume responsibility for scanning pictures and placing the items on the website for sale. The supplier will provide information to Beaderz as to the suggested retail price, description of piece (type of beads, thread used, length of item, etc.).
The supplier will be expected to pay $20 for their initial batch of items to be sent for sale at Beaderz (up to 25 items). All future items will be charged at $0.30 an item and is payable when items are sent to Beaderz. Beaderz will also retain 20% of the sale price. This is to cover the costs of scanning pictures, updating/maintaining website, shipping items, marketing, credit card processing fees, hosting photos of beadwork, handling customer inquiries, and overall administrative support. If Beaderz offers a sale of 5-20% off, this amount will be covered by Beaderz, not the supplier.
Beaderz will issue and mail checks for all items sold on a quarterly basis (January 10, April 10, July 10, and October 10). Payments due of less than $50 will be deferred to the next quarterly cycle until a $50 balance due is obtained. Payments will be issued through PayPal.
The supplier must be at least of 18 years of age with a valid social security number for tax reporting purposes.
Beaderz will issue a 1099 to the supplier for all sales commissions/payments made that exceed $600 in a calendar year that will be reported to the IRS for tax reasons.
Discretion of placement of items on website is determined by Beaderz. Beaderz has full permission to use all supplier's beadwork photos for marketing, newsletters, etc.
Terms of this agreement may change at the discretion of Beaderz. It is the supplier's responsiblity to check back to this web page for updates to the policies.
Beaderz reserves the right to refuse any item for sale for any reason. Shipping of returned merchandise will be the responsibility of the supplier. Simply email Beaderz with your request to return your beadwork, and Beaderz will estimate shipping costs. Your items will be returned upon receipt of payment for postage.
Supplier is responsible to make repairs as reasonable at the customer's request. Note: This is generally due to flaws in design or inferior materials used. This is at the discretion of the supplier and Beaderz; however, customer satisfaction is Beaderz' main concern.
